“Birther, Racist or Transcripter” –
How to morph your biography and history to fit the needs of the moment…Or, how to totally discredit anyone who tries to find answers…thru these “labels” and “name calling”…and it has been very effective.
Cindy Simpson writes in “The Morphing Obama Biography and Skeptics” that “An odd taboo has been created on noticing that the president of the United States has a biography that can adapt itself to the needs of the moment. Go too far in raising an alarm, and be labeled “birther” and shunned in polite society.”
Simpson writes, “The biography story is radioactive: it addresses the taboo subject of Obama’s birth, his life narrative, and his character and credentials, and it illustrates the mainstream’s utter lack of journalistic integrity.”
This is a fascinating, well written article, and you can read further here…
Ed Lasky writes in “What Is Obama Hiding,” “There has been plenty of conjecture regarding Obama’s biography. Clearly, he has a penchant for fiction and does not care to fact-check his own life. Nor does he care for others to fact-check or scrutinize what he has been doing as president. Has this been why he has been decimating the taxpayers’ best friends in Washington: the inspectors general?”
He then goes on in this article to chronicle the administration’s war on the Inspectors General (you can read a previous article on Feb. 1, 2011, on this subject here…)
Lasky writes: “Barack Obama holds grudges and vendettas. He personalizes politics and does not like to be shown to be anything other than a superstar. Barack Obama advised in 2008 that when others bring a knife to a fight, he brings a gun.”
He then goes on to list examples of things the Inspectors General have already uncovered. Just watch this commercial and article featuring Solyndra…
“Barack Obama does not want anyone overseeing his actions as president. He does not want the incompetency and waste to see the light of day. He does not want fraud to be exposed. He does not want his ties to donors and their projects to be public knowledge. He does not want the American people to realize they have been taken for a ride.”
“If I Had A World Of Mine Own”…Mychal Massie nails it here, folks…
My colleague has often compared the Obamas to sharecroppers who won the lottery, and I differ slightly in my assessment. I see them more as Mammy and Pappy Yokum who woke up one morning nearly four years ago and found out they were no longer living in Dogpatch. Neither had the sophistication, capacity, finesse, charm, or sense of decorum to assume the roles in which they found themselves. They rode the perfect storm of a clever but highly deceitful campaign blitz and were aided and abetted by a co-conspiring media that avoided routine vetting as if it was poison ivy. Friends in the legal community would rather lose a kidney than surrender their license to practice law, and yet, the press conveniently took a pass on the Obamas’ significant legal foibles because truth no longer fits the template of a sullied profession obsessed upon creating and controlling news as opposed to reporting it.
Massie goes on to talk about the President, in “full distress-mode,” and what he is doing to save his Presidential neck. Read the rest of the article here…
Why can’t we remove from the voting rolls those who are there illegally? Oh…that would be discrimination?? Yup…so they say.
“Protecting the right to vote“…from today’s “SteadyConservative” blog…
Protecting whose right to vote? Last year the state of Florida began reviewing its voter registration roles in order to purge them of ineligible voters such as anyone who is not a US Citizen. Eric Holder’s DOJ is now demanding that the state stop doing so. The federal government is questioning the list calling it…wait for it…discrimination. Florida has asked for access to the federal immigration database to further validate those who they have determined are ineligible voters but so far the Obama administration has refused. Your list is not good, but I am not going to give you access to a database that could show if it is…classic. The excuses really are coming in droves. Here was one of my favorites from the article:
“T. Christian Herren, chief of the voting section of the civil rights division, also said that removing voters from the rolls less than 90 days before a federal election also appears to violate federal law. Florida’s primary election is Aug. 14.”
It begs the question…is it okay to leave someone on the roles and allow them to vote even when we know they are not US Citizens? This incident brings to mind all kinds of things. Combine this effort with Holder’s attack on Texas’ Voter ID law as well as similar laws in other states and you begin to see a concerted effort by the federal government to go after anyone who is trying to protect the integrity of the upcoming election. It also brings to light how the Voting Rights Act is unconstitutional and how the federal government is using it as a weapon against selected foes…all in the name of political power.
Changing America’s Course
There’s no way to predict how the 2012 elections will turn out. But it will be a turning point in American history: Either our leaders will guide the country even further along the road to “progressivism” or they will begin a long, slow turn back toward the principles of the American Founding.
The United States is unique. Ours is a republic dedicated to the universal principles of human liberty: that all are fundamentally equal and equally endowed with unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Our government exists to secure these God-given rights, deriving its just powers from the consent of the governed. Our Constitution limits the power of government under the rule of law, creating a vigorous framework for expanding economic opportunity, protecting national independence, and securing liberty and justice for all.
Today, though, the federal government has acquired an all but unquestioned dominance over virtually every area of American life. It acts without constitutional limits and is restricted only by expediency, political will, and (less and less) budget constraints.
The Heritage Foundation is working hard on educating the American public, realizing that the first step is to reduce the size and scope of government and unleash the engines of economic productivity and the institutions of cultural renewal. Only then can we change America’s course, begin to get spending under control, balance the budget, and shrink our debt without increasing taxes. Read the entire article here…
