Here’s a case where we, the grassroots Republicans, Independents, and outraged Democrats, need to stand up and make some noise. Ok, the noise will only be heard by Republicans since the liberal, leftist, socialist administration has already purchased ear plugs for staff, legislators and followers. As Obama said, “We won! That settles it!” So much for any bi-partisanship, as though there was ever any chance of that.
So, let’s go after the Republicans and their leadership. Let them know what you think. Email, call, fax, or even write a letter (what’s that, Maude??).
Clarice Feldman wrote “A Call To Arms on Daschle” in which he referenced and quoted Dan Riehl of “Riehl World View” and they both came off the bench over the Daschle nomination…in light of his failure to pay taxes on income of hundreds of thousands of dollars. The media is trying to give him a pass on this, like they did with Treasury Secretary Geithner’s tax troubles. Isn’t is just amazing that we now have a man with oversight of the IRS who cheated on his taxes.
I also have to give kudos to Michelle Malkin who lists the B.O. Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee (ah…”B.O.” refers to “bend over”…as in…oh, you know!!) who “determined that Geithner’s “tax goofs” worth $43k did not disqualify him from the job of overseeing everyone else’s taxes.” Then she lists all ten of the R’s who voted to confirm Geithner in her article, “What Will the Bend Over Republicans Do With Tax Cheat Tom Daschle?”
As if you needed more on Daschel, there is more…lots more…that is coming to light. As Michelle puts it, his confirmation has hit a traffic snarl on its way through the Senate Finance Committee. Looking at the details, I would say he just created a huge traffic jam, and hopefully he has been totally disabled.
An “ethical administration” my foot. I don’t care how they paint it, shape it, disguise it…nobody, and I mean nobody, is indespensible and “uniquely qualified” for any position…especially when they are a tax cheat, corrupt, dishonest, hypocritical…(you would almost think these are requirements on their resume…but I digress…).
So come on, people, contact Republican Senators and let them know how you feel about this. Urge them to take a firm stance against this stuff, now! Let your outrage be heard.
You ARE outraged, aren’t you? If not, we are in deeper trouble than I thought.
From the conservative press…
“Hoping Obama Fails” is a subject gaining conservative ground. Selwyn Duke writes that he agrees with Rush Limbaugh wholeheartedly. He says he also wants Obama to fail. Abjectly. Miserably. Completely. And visibly. He said he may even pray for it! Then he goes on to give his reasons why it is not unpatriotic to hope for the failure of a leader with flawed ideologies. He also goes on to show how the Liberal Left despised president Bush, and absolutely wanted him to fail. A very good read, and I happen to believe he is right…
Rick Moran writes: “Obama Hates White People and Wants Them to Die.” This is the exact response to the lack of FEMA response to the 1.5 million people in the mid-west without power during this cold snap. Well, it is the correct response if you compare what the leftist media had to say about Bush less than 24 hours after Katrina’s hurricane winds stopped blowing. Moran compares the Democrat response to the Republican response… very interesting and a good comparison.
I have just listened to Micael Steel’s acceptance speech as he became the new head of the Republican National Committee. I believe he is a breath of fresh air and has his work cut out for him. He has a great rebuilding job ahead of him, and I think he is up to it. We will be following him closely. There is a great opportunity as we see the actions of our liberal, leftist President. You can listen to his short (5:32 minutes) acceptance speech.
One final entry, “Reagan’s Third Inaugural Address.” Penned from the “heavenly White House,” Jeffrey Lord seems to have some kind of connection with this “leaked” document. Go have some fun and read what the late President Reagan has to say about today’s political scenery.
