A while back Pete Saltzman, running for the RNC Chairmanship, sent out a CD to the Republican leadership with the parody, “Magic Negro.” The radical left and the MSM skewered conservatives, without really knowing what it was all about. They framed this whole thing out of context and in the process successfully divided the conservatives.
In William Safire’s book, “The First Dissident: The Book of Job in Today’s Politics,” he describes Job as a political dissident (the Biblical “Job,” not Apple’s “Job”). Among other things, he refused to accept the democratic abuses of his friends. If only our current conservative leadership could stand up and denounce the false accusations of the liberals & political adversaries (of which there is a rich well to draw from). Instead they spend their time denouncing fellow members for minor faults, and the whole structure topples. The MSM got Newt Gingrich to denounce Rush for the use of “Magic Negro,” never taking the time to find out the real story of that parody, and where it came from (would you believe a liberal’s statement in California).
Nancy Coppock does a terrific job of comparing Safire’s book and the story of Job to the charges of the radical left. She states correctly that they hold themselves to no standards, but hold conservatives to a standard of near perfection. Job’s accusers, and Lucifer himself, are literally politics totally erased of character and ethics. Nancy thus correctly identifies Saul Alinsky as a radical leftist. He dedicated “Rules for Radicals” to “the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom…Lucifer!” She says, “Luciferian politics allows the shadiest of characters to freely cast stones at every righteous, but flawed, man.”
The error of our conservative leaders has been the same as Job’s friends, who accepted the premise of the left’s charge and their offering of self-righteous “help.” They put the accused in a crossfire, and despite their good intentions, the conservative leadership thus becomes divided and ineffective. They didn’t stand up and defend themselves, denounce Luciferian politics, and thus allowed the radical left to define them. They then began blaming one another.
Come on, folks, we’re not perfect, but we’ve allowed the radical left to define us (wrongly), and thus diminish our effectiveness. We must stand up and defend ourselves, showing the conservative populace, and anybody else who will listen, that there are leaders who will not allow themselves to be destroyed or marginalized. Instead, we will go after the false accusations point for point. We need to stand up for those like Rush Limbaugh, who are doing incredible jobs of rousting conservatives and explaining where and how we can stand. Learn to defend your conservative positions and show how this is the best path for freedom and prosperity.
Perhaps, as Job, we can then show how wrong our adversaries are. We can do this as we rebuild a very conservative Party to counter the radical left. The bottom line is this: they are wrong on almost every point. It is only a matter of time! You bet I’m positive. We have truth on our side, not Luciferian politics, agendas and policies.
Now, from the world of conservative media…
Wow, Kyle-Ann Shiver has my vote! In “G.W. Bush, a President Worthy of Office,” she takes on those who say that he destroyed the Republican Party. Besides, she said she would rather have him save the Country than the Republican Party, & that’s just what he has done. “It’s called proper prioritizing.” She goes on to chronicle a recent discussion/debate with friends who had no idea of the courage of this President. For you Conservatives, this article includes some great arguments you can use. This is a good read…enjoy.
J.R.Dunn writes that “no previous president has been treated as brutally, viciously, and unfairly as G.W.Bush. He endured a deliberate & planned assault on everything he stood for, everything he was involved in, everything he tried to accomplish…His detractors…were out to bring him down at all costs, or at the very least destroy his personal & presidential reputation.” Folks, until the R’s face up to their “naked pusillanimity,” don’t look for any major comeback. I agree that there is no rational answer to the hatred Bush endured. Please, read this article with a deep appreciation for one who will one day be considered a great President! Conservatives, enjoy a wonderful article. The rest of you, weep, for one day the truth will be known.
One more, as Paul Kengor writes, “Bush at the Stone Table: The Sacrificial Presidency of George W. Bush.” He uses a scene from C.S. Lewis’ classic, “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” and compares it to the hellacious assault on G.W. Bush. Another outstanding analysis of Bush that needs to be shared. Paul has links to a couple of Bush’s greatest speeches, and shows how Bush sought to take liberty to the area of the world where it has been most resistant. Again, I would recommend this as a “must read!”
